Wire Cutting and Stripping Machine

The integrated wire cutting and stripping machine from Sedeke can be adjusted to fit various wire harness fittings and cut multiple sizes of wire at the same time. It can also be switched quickly between types of cutting, since it uses rotary blades, V-blades, and flat-blades. You can use this machine to cut, strip various lengths in stages, notch the middle section and twist wires all on the same machine without replacing it with an entirely new unit.

Core Technology & Advantages

The Sedeke Electric Wire Cutting Stripping Machine features a welded structure made of high-strength cast iron or thick-walled, high-quality cold-rolled steel plate, with a surface treated by powder coating or anodizing. The heavy-duty frame effectively absorbs vibrations generated by the motor during high-speed operation, ensuring the machine’s stability during high-frequency shearing. It utilizes high-precision synchronous pulleys, imported ball screws, and linear guides, paired with high-resolution stepper motors or absolute-value servo motors.

High-Precision Tolerance Control

Stripping Accuracy: For specific models such as the TM-20SCM and TM-200SC, stripping and positioning tolerances are strictly controlled within 0.05-0.1mm.

Precise cutting accuracy: Precision Wire Cutting Stripping Machine feature a cutting tolerance of ≤0.002 * L, ensuring extremely high accuracy even when cutting wire lengths of 999,999.99 mm.

Rotary Stripping System: The ESC-BXR Series employs a rotary stripping system, an innovative solution specifically designed for high-precision, high-speed cable cutting and stripping.

Precision Wire Feed and Drive Systems

Delt-Driven Wire Feed Technology: Servo Wire Cutting Stripping Machine Medium- to large-sized machining machines such as the ESC-BX30/60, BX80/120, BX300/400, and S Series utilize a belt-driven wire feed system paired with high-resolution stepper motors or absolute-value servo motors. This ensures that wire feed dimensions and peeling blade depth are controlled to the micrometer level.

Multi-Roller Drive: Equipped with 16- or 32-roller drive systems, these machines provide stable and powerful feed force to prevent slippage.

Professional Material Processing Capabilities

The tool holder is precision-machined from high-rigidity alloy steel to ensure backlash-free reciprocating motion. Sedeke offers V-shaped blades, arc-shaped blades, flat blades, and custom-shaped blades

High Processing Speed: Designed specifically for large-scale industrial production. The ESC-BX7 can process up to 325 pieces per minute (for L=100 mm), while the multi-core sheathed cable machines (ESC-BX30S/60S) can reach up to 3,500 pieces per hour.

Simultaneous processing of multiple wires: The ESC-BX7 can process five cables simultaneously, significantly improving work efficiency. Multi-core sheathed cables: The “S” series (ESC-BX30S, BX60S, BX80S, BX120S) is specifically designed for multi-core sheathed cables (up to 10 cores) and can strip both the outer sheath and inner conductors in a single operation.

Heavy-Duty Cutting: Models such as the ESC-BX300 and BX400 can process cables with a cross-sectional area of up to 400 mm², using high-quality high-speed steel blades to achieve clean cuts on heavy-duty cables.

User-Friendly

Digital Adjustment: The pressure roller height is digitally adjustable, making setup convenient

PLC Visual Interface: Equipped with a 7-inch or 10-inch touchscreen, it offers menu-guided operation and programming, allowing users to start operating the machine immediately after training

Supported Processing Functions

Application & Industry Solutions

automatic wire cutting and stripping machine for automotive wire harnesses

Automotive and NEV Wiring Harness Processing

Automotive electrical systems are extremely complex. This equipment is used to process automotive sensor wires, headlight control wires, Battery Management System (BMS) signal wires, and high-voltage power battery connection cables, and it imposes stringent requirements on wire stripping precision and zero strand breakage.

Home Appliance and Consumer Electronics Manufacturing

Internal power cords and connection cables for home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners, as well as ultra-fine coaxial cables and flat cables found inside cell phones and computers. This application requires equipment capable of extremely high daily output and exceptional stability.

Industrial Control Cabinets and Power Distribution Systems

Jumper wires inside PLC control cabinets, variable frequency drive enclosures, and power distribution panels. These typically feature larger wire gauges (4 mm² – 25 mm²), requiring equipment with high-torque wire feeding and powerful cutting and stripping force.

Photovoltaic and Wind Power Industries

Used for processing connection wires for outdoor photovoltaic panel busbars and control signal cables for wind power equipment. These cables typically feature a double layer of rigid cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, requiring special V-shaped or curved blades for multi-layer stripping.

Medical Devices and Precision Aviation Instruments

Processing of Teflon-insulated multi-core shielded cables, highly flexible silicone rubber cables, and similar products. These applications demand extremely high process standards for controlling tensile deformation during processing and achieving micrometer-level precision in end-stripping.

Wire Cutting and Stripping Machine FAQs

FAQ 1:What is a wire cutting and stripping machine?

A wire cutting and stripping machine automatically feeds wire from a reel, cuts it to a programmed length, and removes insulation from one or both ends. Depending on the machine configuration, it may also perform full stripping, half stripping, intermediate stripping, multi-stage stripping, notching, and wire twisting. Sedeke’s current category page already describes these integrated functions.

FAQ 2:What types of wire and cable can Sedeke machines process?

Sedeke wire cutting and stripping machines can process single-core wires, multi-core sheathed cables, automotive wires, high-voltage power cables, XLPE-insulated cables, silicone wires, Teflon-insulated cables, and other industrial cable types. The suitable model, blade and feeding system depend on the conductor size, cable outer diameter, insulation material and cable structure.

FAQ 3:How do I choose the right wire cutting and stripping machine?

Start with the wire cross-sectional area, cable outer diameter, number of cores, insulation material, cutting length, stripping length and required production output. You should also confirm whether the process requires full stripping, half stripping, intermediate stripping, rotary stripping or inner-core processing. Sedeke’s current model range covers fine wires, standard wires, multi-core cables and heavy-duty cables up to large cross-sectional areas.

FAQ 4:Can one machine cut, strip and process both wire ends?

Yes. Sedeke machines combine wire feeding, length measurement, cutting and stripping in one programmed production cycle. Depending on the model, the machine can strip the front end, rear end or both ends, and selected models support intermediate stripping, multi-stage stripping and processing of outer sheaths and inner conductors.

FAQ 5:Can Sedeke test my wire before I order?

Yes. Customers can provide actual wire samples and processing requirements. Sedeke engineers evaluate the wire structure, insulation material, diameter range, stripping dimensions and required production capacity, then recommend the machine, blade and accessories. The current page states that free wire sample testing can be completed before the order is confirmed.
